People become homeless because they can’t pay there bills or they go bankrupt. People get ill and can’t pay for there doctor bills and can’t pay for doctor treatment. Some people have addictions and they spend there money on drugs and stuff that are bad for there body. Some people live in homeless shelters like the Siena Francis house. Some people are on the streets asking for money or food to get something in there stomach. Homeless people sleep outside and in the winter there are groups of Homeless people that stay together. Homelessness is all over the world. The people who don’t have the resources they need try to make there lives better or some people just wanna stay homeless.

I’ll stay on track this week by doing my homework and then my reading. I’ll also read books that are interesting to me.

I think that Rubin will propose to Arlene. According to the text, he said he really liked her. I want Rubin to propose to Arlene soon. I hope he doesn’t return it because he might regret it. I also have a prediction that if Rubin proposed to Arlene , she would say yes.

I think the idea of selling bracelets was a very good idea. According to the text it worked out very well! Its good that they got 150 rupee.

I think Moriko is still alive. According to the text, she fell and made her unconscious and that is when Moriko appeared. When they were in the woods trying to get to the carnival they heard kids playing. I think that wasn’t kids, I think they were ghosts. I think the clowns that they saw at the carnival were alive acting like they were statues.

It’s weird that I don’t pray in the book. According to the text, I don’t really care about god in the book. I also believe that they will eventually save up enough money for a hotel or motel room.

Goal

At the end of the first quarter, I will score a 1062 on the star test. Also, I will read 20 minutes.

My parents will support me by making sure I read 20 minutes every weekday. They might take me to a public library to get some books.

My teacher will support me by helping me read more challenging books.

I think Lucy’s idea kinda makes some sense. It could be possible that Jerry could be Arlene’s husband. I thought Arlene would notice but he could of injured his face and Arlene couldn’t recognize him. I still think Arlene and Mr St Claire won’t get together. There is a chance but it most likely it’s not gonna happen. Like Arlene said he makes her uncomfortable. That is some text evidence I thought gave away Arlene and Mr St Claire not having a relationship. I think that Arlene’s husband isn’t coming home if it wasn’t Jerry. If he has been gone for a year it wouldn’t make sense that he would come home after a year. I think the black man in a suit is Mr St Claire. Mr St Claire always wears suits. It is text evidence from the beginning of the book that he always wears suits. It could be him or it could not be him. I don’t know why Jerry wasn’t in the mood to talk to Trevor and Arlene. It could be that Jerry didn’t want to talk to Arlene because they don’t really like each other. I’m not sure if that is the real reason. It could be that he just doesn’t want to talk. So that’s why Lucy’s idea kind of makes sense.

This book so far is good. It was pretty overwhelmed in the city like in real life. for example, it said “the driver honked to hurry us”. I can tell the bus driver is very rude and impatient. I can’t wait to read more of this book!

I think this book is pretty entertaining. There is alot of action and funny parts! I have to say this isn’t my favorite treehouse book. There is jokes at the bottom of the page that just aren’t the best. There basically dad jokes! I like some parts in the book and there are some parts that aren’t that good. The book is called Dental Drama & Jokes Galore! Over all I think its a pretty good book, just not the best.
