Hatchet Final Blog Post

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐

I gave it 4 starts because I didn’t like Brian. Even though the book was very descriptive, I wasn’t the biggest fan of it.

Skunk

I liked the skunk because he spraying Brian’s face. That part made me feel good and Brian deserved it.

Favorite Part: When the Skunk Sprayed Brian 👍

That was my favorite part because it was super thrilling and funny to read.

Hatchet (finish book)

The book had many things that made me shocked and surprised. All of the twist and turns and descriptions of it was awesome. Even though I still don’t like Brian because he cooked a bird and turtles, I still love how he was the main character in the book and how he seemed smart to me.

3rd Quarter Goal

Grade: A+

I will try to get an A+ by reading for 20 minutes every night. I will make sure to finish reading early so I have time to do my blog post.

Book Challenge: 30

I am already at 15 books so I will continue to read more books. I will go to libraries outside of school to look for more things to read.

Class Expectations

I want to continue doing my best work and paying attention in class. I also want to raise my hand more if I know what the answer is. I want to make sure I am not rushing through my work just to get it done.

Wish

I think her wish was that she wanted a real family. I feel like she wanted real parents to love her instead of biological parents. This book taught me how to believe and even though you make mistakes it’s always about how you fix them.

Bird :)

Today, I looked for food and ate worms. I started flying around to get my exercise in. I also saw this cool dirty looking plane. I had my lunch which was worms of course. Then I went and bothered other birds. Then I had dinner and yup you guessed it, it was worms. Then I went and sat on the a tree. I was just talking to the other birds for the rest of the day.

Hatchet pg.(81)

The author of this book is very descriptive. I believe that because he described the plane crash like is was going in slow motion. The author was using a lot of pauses and plays. When Brian was injured the author was showing a lot of emotion and making the reader feel how he feels.
